Scrapbooking and 1st layout without using a template

I am fairly new to scrapbooking well kind of,  I have been watching all kinds of videos and or reading tutorials; right now I'm just doing digital scrapbooking but I would love to do it non digital as well. Seeing the investment you have to make into it that's something I can't do right now. I will say this any and all advice and or constructive criticism is welcome. Also will someone please help with posting because this is the umpteenth time I have done this and it still looks blurry; I have Photoshop CS6.
